Tashkent, May 21, 2026 – The 6th International PLUS-Forum Digital Uzbekistan, a key event in the digital economy of Central Asia, took place at the AZIMUT Grand Hotel Tashkent on May 19–20. Organized by the PLUS Group, the event was supported by the National Agency for Perspective Project, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan (CCI), and the Competition Promotion and Сonsumer protection Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Forum Facts&Figures
A total of 2,644 applications were submitted for the PLUS-Forum Digital Uzbekistan 2026. The Forum geography has expanded to include participants from 38 countries, including the United States, China, the UAE, India, Indonesia, South Korea, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Türkiye, Switzerland, Cyprus, the Baltic states, and others. Over 110 speakers took part in the PLUS-Forum, and leading companies presented their products, technologies, and services in the exhibition area.
Key Sessions
The PLUS Forum focused on the following topics:
• Uzbekistan on its way towards a modern digital society, and promising development areas,
• digital transformation of public services and the national payment system development,
• implementation of AI at the national level, in business, and in finance,
• digitalization of retail banking,
• infrastructure development and updating the tasks facing ATM and POS terminal networks.
Separate sessions were devoted to fintech, RegTech, and Open Banking; the cryptoPLUS-Forum Digital Uzbekistan 2026 brought together over 2,600 participants from 38 countries
Headliners and Speakers
Among the key Forum speakers were Silicon Valley investor and R136 Ventures Founder Viktor Orlovsky, Dr. Tariq Qureishy (AI Futurist /CEO, Future Readiness Institute), Anton Chen, Business Head for CIS Region, Alipay+, Yiannos Ashiotis (Revolut Digital Assets Europe), as well as senior representatives from the National Bank of Kazakhstan and Georgia, NAPP, HUMO, Mastercard, Uzum Bank, Octobank, Wildberries, Yandex, Wallet In Telegram, and other companies.
Special Formats
For the first time, the PLUS-Forum hosted an open Elevator’s Pitch, where Uzbek startups presented their projects to Viktor Orlovsky. The Silicon Valley investor evaluated the projects, provided honest feedback, and held a master class on pitch preparation.
Exclusive events included:
• A by-invitation-only VIP business breakfast “Development of Cashless Payments. Achievements, Results, and Plan” held in partnership with Octobank.
• Business lunch “AI in Banking: Cases, Implementation, Value Calculation” held in partnership with Yandex Uzbekistan.
The PLUS Galaxy Award is presented annually to the most successful projects and the most talented teams operating in the Uzbek and other Central Asian markets, as well as to the authors of the frontmost publications on the PLUS Group information products.

The International PLUS-Forum Digital Uzbekistan has been held since 2021 to establish itself as a key cross-sectoral platform for discussing digital transformation and the interaction of government agencies, the financial sector, retail, IT, and telecom industries.
